Cousin is a multi-award winning claymation that replays the childhood remembrances of a little boy born with cerebral palsy. The narrator, the cousin of the little boy, tells of their adventures together as children - their attempts to fly off the chookshed roof, the out-of-control shopping trolley rides and games of violent cricket in the backyard. We meet the latest pets, and visit the grave yards of the old ones and explore many and assorted collections of t-shirts, pet rocks and toenails. Through a combination of whimsy and humour we learn how he copes with his disability using safety pins and finger breaking, and follow him to the depths of the ocean where he contemplates his world.
