MY DAD IS 100 YEARS OLD

Synopsis:
In a stunning collaboration between Isabella Rossellini and filmmaker Guy Maddin, Rossellini celebrates the life and work of her father, director Roberto Rossellini on the 100th anniversary of his birth. With daring and humour, she assumes the roles of her father, her mother Ingrid Bergman, and motion picture icons David O. Selznick, Fellini, Hitchcock and Charlie Chaplin. Rossellini failed to save the world with cinema, as he had hoped. But he may have saved cinema for the world.

BEING LOUIS PORCAR

Synopsis:
Being Luis Porcar is a video installation in which Luis Porcar, a well known Spanish dubbing actor, speaks about his work when dubbing the voice of the American actor John Malkovich. The video is presented dubbed into English by John Malkovich himself, thus closing the conceptual loop of the work with his collaboration.

BANGERS

Synopsis:
Cast: Cate Blanchett, Lynette Curran Julie-Anne comes home from a hard day at the office to discover her mother has locked the cat in the house (again) and that she is expected to cook 'bangers' for dinner. Preparing the meal becomes a manifestation of all the repressed tensions in Julie-Anne's work and home life.

Synopsis:
A short film centered on the dating adventures of Fran, a 30-year-old New Yorker and what constitutes a Deal breaker in her search for love. Starring Arija Bareikis.

STANDING ROOM ONLY

Synopsis:
Cast: Hugh Jackman, Sophie Dahl, Joanna Lumley. This short film is about five people who queue up for standing room only tickets to see their favorite actor, Hunter Jackson, in a play entitled "The Man of a Thousand Faces." One by one, the group of very different individuals assembles at the box office, and as they wait, friendships develop. By show's end, the friendships made overshadow the excitement of seeing the show and possibly meeting Mr. Jackson at the stage door.
